SUPERMARKETS IN AL MIZHAR
There are two major supermarkets in Al Mizhar. You can find a branch of Lulu Hypermarket in Arabian Centre and a Union Cooperative Hypermarket in Etihad Mall. CHURCHES, TEMPLES AND MOSQUES IN AL MIZHAR
There are no churches in the neighbourhood. However, you don’t need to go far to visit one. Most churches in Dubai are concentrated in the community of Oud Metha. The travel time between the two districts is roughly 22-minutes to reach any of these churches. For those belonging to the Hindu faith, there are several Hindu temples on Al Fahidi Street, right in front of the Dubai Museum. You will find the Shiva and Krishna Temples located there, about a 25-minute drive away.
For Muslims, there are around several mosques around the community. The most popular mosque out of all of them is the Ahli Mosque. It is quite large and is popular for Friday prayers. Other mosques in Al Mizhar include Al Farooq Mosque, Taibah Mosque, Sheikh Latifa Mosque and more.

There are many schools in Al Mizhar and most of them are concentrated in Al Mizhar 1. One of the best schools in the community is GEMS Royal Dubai School, it offers the British curriculum from pre-primary to Year 6. MALLS IN AL MIZHAR
There are three malls in Al Mizhar alone. There is Ethihad Mall, Arabian Centre and Al Mizhar Mall. Al Mizhar Mall and Etihad Mall are smaller community malls. They have a few retail stores and a handful of food and beverage options. Arabian Centre, the largest and most popular mall of the three is a complete shopping, dining and entertainment destination. It has a hypermarket, hundreds of retail stores and tons of dining options. In terms of entertainment, there is a cinema, indoor amusement park and small ice rink. Apart from shopping, dining and entertainment, there are also several branches of banks located in the mall as well as a few governmental offices. City Centre Mirdif is one of the malls located near the community. Whether you are looking for high-end fashion brands or beauty products, there are all types of shops in Mirdif City Centre. Popular restaurants include Gazebo, a North Indian restaurant known for its extensive menu. THINGS TO CONSIDER
One important thing to keep in mind is that there are no apartments for rent in Al Mizhar. This community mostly caters to families who are looking to live in large villas. Even though the community is a considerable distance away from central Dubai, one can easily get around if they have their vehicle. On the other hand, there is limited access to public transportation.
Apart from these factors, you’ll find that you’ll have to sacrifice little to nothing in terms of enjoying a high standard of living in this community. This locality has all the amenities and is close to several places of interest and venues for entertainment and fitness.
