Mira 2 is a sub-community with villas and townhouses. Made up of five phases with 18,000 residential units, Mira is located in the greater Reem community in Dubai. Together with Mira Oasis, it makes up the Reem area, a development by Emaar.

Just off Al Qudra Road (D63), Mira 2 is Phase 2 of the greater Mira community. PROPERTIES IN MIRA 2

As a gated community, Mira 2 does not offer direct access to modes of public transport in Dubai. However, by driving outside the area’s borders, residents will come across many bus stops and bus stations that service the J02 Bus. J02 takes you to Arabian Ranches, Dubai Sports City and Dubai Production City. To travel around the city with ease, Dubai Metro is a choice for most of the individuals of the city. A large number of metro stations lie within a drive of 26 to 30 minutes, including the newly inaugurated metro stations of Route 2020. These include Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, Jumeirah Lake Towers Metro Station and Al Furjan Metro Station.

Hindu residents can visit the temples in Bur Dubai for their spiritual healing. Located almost 40 minutes away, the temples have been erected in Bur Dubai by the massive number of Hindu expats in the area. The temples include Shiridi Sai Baba Mandir, Shrinathji Temple and Shiva Temple.

Easily one of Dubai’s best primary schools, Jumeirah English Speaking School follows the National Curriculum of England.
Fairgreen International School follows the International Baccalaureate curriculum for classes from Kindergarten to Grade 12. After Duncrest American School, it is the next addition to the list of ESOL schools in Dubai.
Kings’ School Al Barsha provides education from the primary level to the sixth form, based on the National Curriculum of England. Students here are assisted in procuring the gold level of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
Renaissance School is a US curriculum school that offers education to students in kindergarten and elementary classes. The curriculum of the school is aligned with the State of New York Curriculum and follows the guidelines of the Ministry of Education (MOE) too.

Cityland Mall is spread over 1.2 million sq. ft. in Wadi Al Safa 4, just beside Global Village. While many shops are yet to open in this new mall, the key highlight of this mall is The Garden. Covering 200,000 sq. ft. of sustainable space, The Garden is a green space with shaded areas, restaurants and cafes. The place is a must-visit for individuals interested in learning about the local flora.
My City Centre Al Barsha was launched in 2015 and covers around 5,000 sq. m. of area. Located in Al Barsha South, the mall is a development by Majid Al Futtaim Group and consists of ample shops, restaurants, cafes and a Carrefour Hypermarket.
Next, Dubai Outlet Mall is a discount shopping mall, owned by Al Ahli Holding Group. With approximately 240 stores, the mall is easily one of Dubai’s best malls and some of its retail outlets offer up to 90% discounts.

BEACHES NEAR MIRA 2

However, Mira and the larger Reem area lies on the outskirts of New Dubai and may not strike suitable for individuals who prefer the hustle and bustle of an urbanised culture. Nevertheless, the area is close to many notable attractions in Dubai and keeps its residents entertained with events every now and then.
